FINANCIAL ANALYST (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Provide routine and ad hoc financial reporting and analytical support for assigned financial group.
- Provide recommendations, monitor, and implement process improvements.
- Preparation of monthly reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Analyze problems, performing audits and provide effective solutions of disputes.
- Set objectives for assigned portfolio.
- Escalating non-payment customers to supervisor for resolution.
- Preparations of adjustments for disputes.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts.
MUST HAVES :
- 2+ years’ experience in general accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts payable / accounts receivable. processes.
- Expert skills using Microsoft Excel
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and a part of a team.
