Job Description :

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for an Organization Change Management Lead with complementary skills in business analysis to lead the development of an OCM strategy that will assist individuals and groups to understand and adopt the changes required for successful project completion.

Responsibilities :

  • Organize and facilitate activities to assist organizations in designing and describing the operational organizational structures, governance arrangements, and administrative processes necessary to make optimal use of the new patient cost information and achieve the project’s goals.
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses to identify the individuals and groups likely to be most impacted by the changes and / or those most likely to influence the success of the project.
  • Develop and guide the implementation of OCM strategies, monitor progress against agreed upon goals, and recommend remedial actions where necessary.
  • Assess role / job and organization impact and identify strategies to address organizational change risk.
  • Lead the development of strategies to assist individuals and groups to understand and adopt the changes required for the project to be successful, with special attention paid to physicians and the clinical community.
  • Develop a targeted and actionable organizational change management plan, including communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching and training plan, resistance management plan and transition to operations / post project support plan.
  • Ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and concise manner as required.
  • Work with the project managers to integrate change management activities into the project work plan and monitor execution and delivery.
  • Influence and guide OCM activities at senior leader levels.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Admin, Commerce, Leadership, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a change management leadership capacity with demonstrated experience transforming and managing change across a complex multi-site, multi-stakeholder environment is required.
  • An industry recognized certification in organizational change management, such as CCMP or an equivalent.
  • Experience with the use of organizational change management frameworks, such as Prosci’s ADKAR model, Kotter’s 8 Steps, or an equivalent is required.
  • Canadian health care experience is an asset.
  • Business analysis experience is an asset.
  • Strong presentation skills; can speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audiences.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Relationship management, excellent coaching, and collaboration skills.
