Qualifications (The following teaching needs are required)
Bachelor of Computer, Mechanical, and / or Electrical Engineering or MechatronicsMinimum two (2) years of experience working in Advanced ManufacturingExperience creating interactive and practical learning experiencesProficiency in programming languages commonly used in mechanical design such as Python (for scripting, automation, and numerical analysis)Understanding of mechanical design processes in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or roboticsAbility to design hands-on, project-based learning modules tailored to various skill levelsUnderstanding of machine learning, optimization, and data visualization for engineering problemsKnowledgeable in coding for 3D printing and design optimization techniquesHighly effective communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary settingDemonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an assetExperience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an assetMust be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON requiredResponsibilities
Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the courseWork closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environmentPerform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activitiesApplication Process
