Job Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians in providing high-quality care to pets in a mobile setting.Assist with sample collection for diagnostic laboratory tests, including bloodwork and urinalysis.
- Assist with administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Educate and advise pet owners on general pet care, nutrition, and medical conditions.
Qualifications :
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensed to practice in Ontario, Canada.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with technology and virtual consultation platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.
- Familiarity with fear-free restraint techniques is preferred.
