Position Overview : We are seeking a talented intermediate Production Designer to join our creative department. The successful candidate will have over three years of experience and will collaborate within an integrated team, including external agency partners, to support the marketing department in developing and executing various print and digital creative campaigns and assets. Main Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with brand, trade, and digital managers to meet creative brief requirements
• Ensure creative excellence and accuracy through QAing art direction and content against brand guidelines
• Finalize designs using image editing software, ensuring high-quality output
• Retouch images to enhance print and digital quality
• Manage the prepress process for print files
• Following established process to ensure exceptional file management (naming conventions, packaging working files, final artwork, etc.

• Maintain clear communication around revisions and timelines
• Assist various departments in necessary artwork changes and approvals
• Provide creative solutions and insight to the team
• Ensure various brands’ consistency across all channels
• Report project status to manager to ensure project milestones and deliverables are on track and on time
• Prioritize activities effectively across multiple programs
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or diploma from a design program at college / university
• Portfolio showcasing completed graphic designs and creative projects
• Understanding and experience with corporate branding, production process, layout, color theory & typography in both print & digital media.
• Ideal candidate will have experience in Cannabis, CPG, Pharma, Alcohol, or relevant regulated industry experience
• Strong understanding of creative development and execution
• Understanding or willingness to learn Canadian Cannabis Regulations
• Solution-oriented with a positive approach and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Agility and ability to pivot easily; open-minded to feedback
• Self-starter and great teammate with a strong attention to detail.
• Preference will be shown to those with high interest in well-rounded creative thinking and interest
• Foundational knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
