Job Summary
This Company is currently seeking an Event Manager &Engagement Specialist to join the Technology Communications &Outreach (TCO) team within its Technology Oversight &Coordination organization (TOC).
TCO plays a crucial role infulfilling TOCs mission of creating value forThis Company througheffective communication with its extensive range ofstakeholders.
The candidate will be responsiblefor driving and promoting stakeholder engagement specifically forThis Companys sustainability technologies.
As an integral part ofthe team the Event Manager and Engagement Specialist willcontribute to the development and execution of events and PRcampaigns for Technology Oversight and Coordination(TOC).
Ideal candidates should possess expertisein specialized branding and marketing concepts principles andtactics. Additionally proficiency in both English and Arabiclanguages is required to effectively communicate and engage withdiverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage global workshops eventsand conferences related to sustainability climate change andinnovations in climate technologies.
- Developannual event and branding engagement plans for internal andexternal stakeholders.
- Arrange visits withVIPs universities and other relevant organizations or entities asrequired.
- Manage agency relationships developscopes of work and oversee work programs.
- Align promote and support corporate communicationefforts.
- Establish and manage an internalcommunication governance system with periodic strategic reviews andbiweekly tactical reviews.
- Track and measurethe effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies.
- Develop marketing campaigns brand collateral and longtermstrategies overseeing the work of external consultants includingweb developers videographers and online platformvendors.
- Manage brand resources and processesto ensure consistent brand delivery including message frameworksvisual assets key terminology accurate data andhighlights.
- Conduct extensive quantitative andqualitative market research to implement datadriven marketingcampaigns and meet organizationwide strategic goals.
- Support organizational growth by developing contentmarketing and demand generation strategies that drive awareness andengagement.
- Develop and implement a strategicexternal events calendar to drive awareness with new prospects andaccelerate existing opportunities.
- Create acentralized events calendar for email campaigns overseeing theirfull lifecycle including creative / copy development datasegmentation and reporting / analysis.
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for events.
- Collaborate with external agencies to execute promotionalevents and campaigns.
- Coordinate withmarketing and other professionals to ensure seamless eventexecution.
- Plan and execute initiatives toreach the target audience for events through appropriate channelssuch as social media email TV etc.
Requirements :
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
- Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration Strategic Communications Public AffairsJournalism Media or a related field. A Masters degree ispreferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of workexperience in event management.
- Ability towork effectively both as a team player andindependently.
- Bachelors degree in MarketingAdvertising or a related field preferred from a recognized andapproved program.
- 3 years of experience instrategic communication and public affairs.
- Strong analytical capacity capable of addressing complexchallenges and contexts.
- Demonstratedconfidence integrity and collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic communicationskills with a high degree of emotional intelligence andempathy.
- Comfortable and effective ininteractions with Csuite leaders subject matter experts andworkinglevel partners.
- Handson selfstarterwith a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work and deliver results under pressure and toovercome adversity.
- Requires more than 50%travel worldwide including Asia Europe Africa the Americas andvarious locations in the Middle East.
