All revenue is reinvested into Calgary Stampede programs and facilities.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and has a passion for creative content development, social media, and writing. In this role, you will support our marketing initiatives by creating compelling content, writing copy for a variety of channels and audiences, and assisting with social media strategy and execution.

This is a Seasonal role ending on July 31, 2026

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

• Creative Content Development : Work with the marketing team to develop creative and engaging content for various platforms, including web, email, social media, and print. Assist in brainstorming, conceptualizing, and creating visual and written assets to promote Stampede events and activities.
• Copywriting : Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a range of marketing materials ensuring that all messaging aligns with the Stampede’s voice and brand tone.
• Social Media Support : Assist in managing and updating social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.). Monitor engagement, community management, and collaborate with the team to track performance and refine strategies.
• Coordination and Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure that marketing materials are aligned and deadlines are met. Maintain a flexible approach to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Content Calendar Management : Help maintain and update the marketing content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across multiple channels. Be prepared to pivot quickly as priorities change.
• Branding Consistency : Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the Calgary Stampede’s brand guidelines and contribute to a cohesive overall marketing strategy.
