Automation Specialist - PLC & Software

Westburne, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., is a leader in electrical product distribution across Canada.

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Automation Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development : Build relationships with new and existing customers, identify opportunities, and deliver technical presentations.
Technical Expertise : Develop deep product knowledge, collaborate with technical teams, and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Customer Support : Serve as a trusted advisor, resolve inquiries, and ensure long-term satisfaction.
Professional Growth : Participate in training, shadow senior specialists, and set performance goals.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer service, and provide feedback to product management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of experience in sales or technical roles.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel in Alberta.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electrical, automation, or energy industries.

Familiarity with CRM software.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
