Your Role
Interface with project team members to complete assigned tasks.Undertake calculations, analysis and simulations from basic or first principles following established design practices as directed by senior engineers.Prepare basic design and / or engineering reports when requested.Assist in the management of drawing and document lists, distribution matrices, squad check coordination and records management.Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards.Prepare and manage material take‑offs and requisition packages.Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.Additional duties as required.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Registered as an EIT with APEGA.0‑3 years of experience. New graduates are welcome to apply!Some experience or knowledge in oil and gas, mining, or municipal sectors an asset.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others team members and engineering disciplinesSelf‑starter and highly motivated individual looking for career growth opportunities.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Sound judgement and initiative.Experience using 3D AutoCad or equivalent considered an asset.Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).Willingness and ability to travel as needed.The perks of working at Tetra Tech include :
