Key Responsibilities :
Create engaging
content, from concept and
scripting to final edit, that highlights student successes, programs, alumni, and partners.
Photograph and capture
video at events when required.
Work within the social media team and contribute to social media
efforts across campus through
collaborative exercises.
Monitor analytics and engagement data to evaluate
effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Ensure all content
aligns with NAIT brand standards, social media policies, and privacy regulations.
Apply best practices to
ensure an engages audience through the community management strategy.
Provide occasional evening
support to cover events and activities.
Skills & Abilities :
Content creation with a focus on short-form
video.
Creativity in developing engaging digital content
that reflects the NAIT
brand.
Ability to research
and adapt to evolving social
media trends, algorithms, and digital marketing
techniques.
Experience creating and managing content
calendars and campaign
strategies.
Skilled in writing
and tailoring messaging
for diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
Strong knowledge of major social
media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok,
X).
Knowledge of
tools such as Adobe
Express, Cap Cut, Sprout Social,
and the Microsoft 365 suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage
multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to analyze
engagement data and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Knowledge of
digital tools such as Sprout
Social, and Adobe Express (or similar applications).
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage
multiple priorities in a part-time
role.
Knowledge of privacy regulations (FOIP, CASL) and institutional brand
standards related to digital communications.[RH1]
Flexibility
to work in a hybrid
environment with occasional evening availability for events.
Qualifications :
Post-secondary student at NAIT or recent grad (within the
last 12 months).
Experience creating digital content (portfolio or
examples of work required).
Skills in photography, filming, video editing and
copywriting.
Ability to create
content in real-time using an iPhone.
Knowledge
of digital tools such as Sprout Social,
and Adobe Express (or similar
applications).
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage
multiple priorities in a part-time
role.
Knowledge of privacy regulations (FOIP, CASL) and institutional brand
standards related to digital communications.[RH2]
Flexibility to work in a hybrid
environment with occasional evening availability for events.
