Are you detail-oriented with a strong sense of craftsmanship and quality? Heritage Office Furnishings is seeking a skilled full-time Reupholster to join our team. You’ll be responsible for measuring, cutting, sewing, and fitting upholstery fabric to various furniture pieces—restoring and enhancing their appearance and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Measure the areas to be reupholstered and create a pattern based on the design specifications.
• Cut fabric pieces according to the pattern and fabric direction.
• Sew upholstery fabric to fit the furniture framework.
• Sew and attach zippers, buttons, and other decorative elements.
• Coordinate with team members for additional repairs as needed, such as re-forming, re-springing, and re-webbing.
• Quality Control and Safety
• Inspect fabric for defects or damage before cutting.
• Ensure all completed work meets high-quality standards for durability and appearance.
• Conduct routine maintenance of work tools and upholstery machine.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
