Sales Associate at Staples Canada
Part‑time, entry‑level position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive sales in the furniture, technology and supplies areas of the store.
- Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders.
- Ensure operational excellence and uphold store brand standards.
- Support merchandising and signage standards including planograms and stocking.
- Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
- Engage with and sell to all customers using all tools and techniques of our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
- Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
- Calmly de‑escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager / supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front‑facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
Qualifications
3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits
