Yard Coordinator

Summary

The Yard Coordinator supports the Yard Manager by balancing hands-on yard operations with dispatch, planning, and administrative responsibilities. This role is critical in keeping daily yard activity and regional trucking operations running smoothly by assisting with dispatch and planning for approximately 13 trucks operating across the Prairies, while also stepping into physical yard work during peak periods.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working outdoors, highly organized, and tech-savvy, with the ability to shift between operational coordination and physical work as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Yard & Operations Support

• Assist with day-to-day yard operations, including load assembly and disassembly, load securement, and organizing freight within the yard
• Support the loading and unloading of equipment and freight, including large agricultural equipment such as combines
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Step in to support the Yard Manager during busy periods or absences
