A School Counsellor plays a pivotal role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being within an educational setting.

POSTING DETAILS

Position - School Counsellor

Team - Associated Professional

Grade(s) - Kindergarten to Gr. 12

Start Date - As soon as possible (flexible)

Hours - Full time / Part time

Employment - Permanent / Contract

Location(s) - Varied / To be determined

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology or equivalent

Bachelor of Education (Elementary, Middle or Secondary) degree, or equivalent training

Successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level

A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress.

A copy of the credential received after completing your program

Email addresses for a minimum of three references (ideally, administrators from your most recent role)

A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC)

PLEASE NOTE

The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

In accordance with the Criminal Record Review Act, successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
