Your new role
As an Electrical Foreman, your responsibilities will include :
- Project Planning and Interpretation : You’ll read and interpret electrical drawings, ensuring that projects are well-planned and executed.
- Material and Equipment Management : You’ll organize materials and equipment needed for each task, ensuring smooth operations.
- Safety Oversight : Maintaining safe working practices and conditions is crucial. You’ll enforce safety protocols to protect the team.
- Coordination with Trades and Clients : Effectivemunication with other trades and clients is essential for seamless project coordination.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosing : You’ll troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Independence on Service Calls and Projects : You’ll work independently on service calls and various projects, including distribution, emergency lighting, branch circuitry, and fire alarm systems.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as the Foreman our client will be looking for the following requirements : Good standing member with the ITA, Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal) or equivalent qualifications, Minimum of 2 years experience inmercial construction.
A solid understanding of all construction trades and electrical techniques. Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity, Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplacepliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
It is a requirement that you can read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.puter Software Knowledge and a First Aid Certificate are a bonus.
