Summer Field Trip Camp Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to work as an outdoor and field trip instructor with our NJ based day camps.

Overview

Summer seasonal position (4‑8 weeks). Curriculum and materials are provided! Learn fun science activities to bring back to your students during the school year. Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun at camp. Paid training! Fishing, archaeology, geology, marine biology, and environmental science. Employee discounts available for select camps run by Black Rocket.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of up to 15 students independently through hands‑on activities across multiple domains.
• Manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes.
• Travel to designated sites (one site per week, Monday‑Friday) in central NJ.
• Provide engaging and educational camp experiences for children ages 7‑14.

Compensation

Rate : $20 / hr – $25 / hr (some listings mention $24 / hr – $28 / hr; pay is in the $20‑$28 range).
