The Montréal, Québec, Canada location is seeking a Specialist, Accounts Payable (full-time permanent).
Your Responsibilities
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports to identify potential duplicate payments and correct amounts.
- Prepare various month-end reports for management and mills.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts payable accounts.
- Maintain up-to-date training and procedures manuals.
- Prepare and conduct simulation tests for IT systems modifications.
- Participate in implementing projects related to accounts payable.
- Prepare accounting documents for check deposits and verify transfers between systems.
- Participate annually in producing 1099 forms for U.S. suppliers and T4NR for non-resident vendors.
Your Skills
- Good organizational skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong business, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2–3 years of experience.
- Experience in accounts payable is an asset.
- Proficient with IT software (Microsoft Office; advanced Excel). SAP experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French is essential for regular interactions with customers and partners.
