Are you looking to thrive in a flexible, modern, and innovation-driven environment ? We are hiring a Database Administrator for a fast-growing company with a strong North American presence. You will play a central role in managing, optimizing, and evolving the organization's databases.

Your Daily Responsibilities :

Relational Database Management (SQL Server) :

  • Perform backups, restorations, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Design optimized relational schemas (tables, indexes, relationships).
  • Write and optimize SQL queries , stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Develop ETL processes using SSIS and generate reports with SSRS .
  • Analyze and resolve database performance issues.

Technical Support and Collaboration :

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications .
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and directors to fulfill data requirements.
  • Use BI tools like Power BI or QuickSight to create clear and actionable data visualizations.
  • NoSQL Database Management (DynamoDB) (a plus) :

  • Design and model NoSQL data structures in DynamoDB with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Automate operations using scripts in Python or Node.js.
  • Integrate DynamoDB with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Kinesis, and Glue.
  • Configure and optimize read / write capacities for effective cost management.
  • Your Profile :

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with SQL Server (mandatory) and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB (asset).
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written) to interact with colleagues based outside of Quebec.
  • Expertise with SSIS, SSRS , and ETL concepts.
  • Experience with AWS and DynamoDB (an asset).
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js to automate database operations (a plus).
