Are you looking to thrive in a flexible, modern, and innovation-driven environment ? We are hiring a Database Administrator for a fast-growing company with a strong North American presence. You will play a central role in managing, optimizing, and evolving the organization's databases.
Your Daily Responsibilities :
Relational Database Management (SQL Server) :
- Perform backups, restorations, and disaster recovery operations.
- Design optimized relational schemas (tables, indexes, relationships).
- Write and optimize SQL queries , stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Develop ETL processes using SSIS and generate reports with SSRS .
- Analyze and resolve database performance issues.
Technical Support and Collaboration :
Translate business needs into technical specifications .Collaborate closely with technical teams and directors to fulfill data requirements.Use BI tools like Power BI or QuickSight to create clear and actionable data visualizations.NoSQL Database Management (DynamoDB) (a plus) :
Design and model NoSQL data structures in DynamoDB with a focus on performance optimization.Automate operations using scripts in Python or Node.js.Integrate DynamoDB with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Kinesis, and Glue.Configure and optimize read / write capacities for effective cost management.Your Profile :
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience with SQL Server (mandatory) and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB (asset).Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written) to interact with colleagues based outside of Quebec.Expertise with SSIS, SSRS , and ETL concepts.Experience with AWS and DynamoDB (an asset).Proficiency in Python or Node.js to automate database operations (a plus).What We Offer :
