We’re currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Avionics Display Manufacturing Department. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Operations team. Location: Midland, Ontario

We’re located in Midland, a growing community recognized for its technological innovation. Nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, Midland offers the perfect mix of natural beauty and urban convenience, making it an ideal place to work, grow, and belong.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment
• Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process
• Follow work flow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads
• Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform basic data entry and computer work
• Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
• Paint application of both Black and Silver BusBar via Emulsion Screen Paint Printer (DEK).
• Measure paint dimension via CMM
• Measure resistivity of Silver BusBar
• Ensure glass quality is assessed and maintained
• Operate DEK Paint Screen Printing Machine
• Operate the paint Oven
• Parts inspection
• Operate Thin Film chamber
• Operate Ultrasonic and Scribe machine

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
• Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions
• Comfortable working with the metric system
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Self-motivated with a consistently positive attitude
• Capable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periods

The starting rate for this position is $21.88/hour. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
