Tester

Job Description

One of our crown corporation clients is looking for a Tester for a 1 year contract, fully emote, to help their team conducting automated, regression and functional testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Document clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and execution steps to verify functionality
• Documents and executes user story acceptance tests
• Ensure functionality is delivered per the business requirements and product documents
• Provides user story and solution support to Agile team members
• Participates in backlog refinement
• Assist with preparing user-stories for backlog refinement
• Supports investigation, analysis, and response to incidents
• Testing existing system processes and provide recommendations for improvements
• Ensuring product quality throughout the development process

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5+ years in the following :

• Experience with test case design, execution and defect tracking
• Experience conducting automated, regression and functional testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience analyzing business and data requirements
• Experience building data models and data mapping documents

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS experience
