JobSummary :

Our client iscreating a new team of Housing Options Assistants to assistofficers with administrativesupport.

Additionalofficers are needed to work specifically with teams where there isa backlog of adminwork.

To provide aspecialist comprehensive administrative and frontline supportservice within Housing Options service embracing changes andensuring year on year service improvements to maintain highstandards.

To supporthomeless officers with client casework ensuring homelessnessprevention relief and timely move on from temporary accommodationincluding but not limited to issuing applicants with standardletters and notifications under Homelessness Reduction Act and fullduty acceptances are completed on Northgate ITsystem.

To ensure allenquiries and applications including Priority Band 1 (PB1) medicaland Homefinders are progressed efficiently and within settargets.

KeyDuties / Accountabilities :

To beproficient in the use of Microsoft Office Scanners Printers efaxand other equipment and in the interrogation and use of HousingOptions Service s core databases and workflow applicationsincluding Comino Northgate CPD andAbritas.

To assist withthe implementation of ICT upgrades including participating intesting; and revising workflowprocesses.

Set up useraccounts on IT systems ensuring correct security access to staff.Where necessary manage restricted applications on ITsystems.

Create newforms and assist in developing and implementing system changesafter beta testing on CDP test environment and migrating completedtests over to Livesystem.

Issue routinestatistical reports when necessary create adhoc reports in requiredformat referring identified data and any inaccuracies to theappropriatemanager.

Makeappointments liaise with and / or maintain effective contact withinternal and external service providers where it will help resolvecustomer enquiries advocating for thecustomer.

Assistingofficers with case work management including and not limited toMARAC and PB1 cases. Interrogating systems to obtain relevantinformation to assist with case conferences andprogression.

Provideadministrative support at team meetings including room bookingsissuing invitations agenda and takingminutes.

EssentialExperienceRequired :

Intermediateknowledge of Microsoft Word ExcelOutlook.

Knowledge ofElectronic Document Management and workflowsystems.

Knowledge ofdatabasesystems.

Knowledge ofthe principles of good customercare.

Experience ofcarrying out a range of administrativeduties.

Experience ofdealing with customers in person or on the phone and offering goodcustomercare.

Experience ofusing a range of office equipment including photocopiers scannersefax.
