Posted : Monday, February 2, 2026 Application Deadline : Friday, February 27, 2026 at 4 : 30 pm The Opportunity Reporting directly to the General Manager of Community and Corporate Services, the Director of Finance / Treasurer is the municipality’s senior financial executive and statutory officer responsible for the overall stewardship, integrity, and strategic management of the corporation’s financial affairs. This position provides strategic direction and oversight in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of programs and services provided by the Finance Department. As Director of Finance / Treasurer and member of the City’s Senior Leadership Team, the Director is responsible for organizational leadership and broadly supporting all City programs and services The role provides senior leadership in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, municipal taxation, utility billing, development charges, procurement and fiscal policy, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, accounting standards, and Council-approved policies. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make a significant contribution to a growing municipality. The successful candidate will be a proven leader who can provide strategic financial guidance, mentor a high-performing team, and work collaboratively across the organization to support corporate initiatives.
