Amii is thrilled to add a Program Coordinator to our Startup Team! On the Startup team we work directly with startups who have deployed machine learning or are eager to implement machine learning into their businesses to create disruptive change and we are looking for an individual that can provide the scientific advice needed to make it happen.

This is an incredible opportunity to have a front-row seat to see technology adoption in action and uncover the potential that AI holds. The Program Coordinator is responsible for customer success and prides themselves on creating exceptional experiences for Amiis clients and program participants. Our team and clients will entrust you with the end to end planning and logistical overview of all our startup programming as well as rely on you as an internal fixer for a cross-functional team priorities and your ability to identify and remove barriers to ensure team cohesion and collaboration.

  • About the Role

    Reporting to a Product Owner, the Project Coordinator serves as a key member of the Startup team and an active participant in facilitating excellent client relationships and industry partnerships within the organization. The Program Coordinator is responsible for customer success and prides themselves on creating exceptional experiences for Amiis clients and program participants.

    Also, the Program Coordinator acts as an invaluable team resource for end-to-end logistics of program and product delivery.

    The Program Coordinator acts as an internal fixer for a cross-functional team and is driven to identify and remove barriers to ensure team cohesion and collaboration.

    The role focuses on achieving excellence in three principal accountabilities :

  • Program and Product Execution
  • Client Success
  • Team Cohesion
  • The Project Coordinator also undertakes specific, but limited, planning roles when opportunities arise that are aligned with their skillset and growth plans.

    Required Skills / Expertise

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and respond to inbound inquiries
  • Coordinate and execute events and activations for our programs and partnerships
  • Assists in the development of program and product roadmaps
  • Provides end-to-end support to the program team to deliver quality programs within the expected timeline
  • Coordinates logistics for program delivery
  • Captures information and gathers metrics
  • Coordinates between departments and teams to ensure that information is clearly communicated
  • Assist in supporting and maintaining relationships with various internal and external communities and partners to build strong connections into a robust AI ecosystem
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Post secondary diploma or degree in a related program is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, community relations, or project management is an asset
  • Experience working within a technology-focused organization is an asset
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with partner organizations, potential partners such as companies, sponsors and community members
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques and technologies
  • Ability to identify the needs of stakeholders and create / drive new solutions
