Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to manage complex Canadian corporate and partnership tax compliance, support financial reporting requirements, and contribute to strategic tax planning initiatives for our organization.

Key responsibilities include :

• Preparation of Canadian corporate tax returns and partnership information returns
• Prepare tax provisions and deferred tax calculation to support the Company’s external financial statements including drafting of all related tax disclosures, and work with the external auditor on the audit of those tax provisions
• Provide support for tax planning initiatives aimed at minimizing corporate taxes and reducing risks associated with filing positions
• Research, analyze and provide recommendations on a variety of legislative and regulatory Canadian income tax, commodity and retail sales tax issues
• Prepare the necessary working papers and work with the external tax advisors on US tax compliance matters
• Review monthly sales tax returns and working papers
• Prepare 13 week rolling cash flow forecast for the Company and its subsidiaries
• Other ad-hoc analyses and tasks as assigned
