We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative for a client – a leading global provider of cutting-edge solutions for microbiology and clinical diagnostics. The Technical Sales Representative will leverage their clinical microbiology expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth in the healthcare and laboratory diagnostics sector. The ideal candidate will work remotely, visiting clients, attending trade shows, and occasionally traveling internationally to represent the company. This role combines technical knowledge, customer relationship management, and strategic marketing efforts to support company objectives. ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop business opportunities within Canadian healthcare markets, targeting hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic labsBuild and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyaltyUtilize clinical microbiology expertise to understand client needs and provide tailored technical solutionsDeliver in-depth product training and demonstrations to healthcare professionalsConduct client visits or virtual meetings to strengthen relationships and maintain visibilityRepresent the company at trade shows approximately quarterly, ensuring visibility and engagementSupport marketing efforts through social media campaigns and trade show promotions to enhance the company’s presencePrepare sales reports during monthly visits to the head office and collaborate with the admin teamManage customer data and track sales pipelines using CRM toolsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goalsTravel within Canada (Ontario, Alberta and BC) and occasionally to the US or UK for client meetings, product updates, and team-building activitiesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in life sciences2-3 years of sales experience3+ years of clinical microbiology experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship buildingAbility to explain technical concepts to diverse audiencesSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management skillsStrategic mindset for market analysis and competitor researchAbility to travel across Canada and internationally as neededFrench language skills are an asset but not requiredWhat We OfferWhy apply through Brunel?
