SUMMARY
The Maintenance Team Leader - Static is responsible for overseeing a team of Technicians in the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance routine and on-demand services for assigned facilities. The Maintenance Team Leader - Static is responsible for overseeing the execution of activities performed by Technicians to ensure that work is performed in accordance to established processes and practices and is in compliant with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental health and safety fire addition to people leadership responsibilities the Maintenance Team Leader - Static also performs and delivers preventative and corrective maintenance as well as routine and on-demand services.
This is a full-time on-site position in Sherbrooke QC.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
People Leadership
Leads a team of individual contributorsAssigns prioritizes and monitors work progressMonitors execution of activities and performance to ensure timely completion and adherence to all requirements including but not limited to operating procedures and practices quality performance and contract response requirementsGuides coaches and trains direct reportsProvides input for performance reviewLeads the delivery of as well as performs the following :
Oversees and monitors the activities and performance of Technicians within assigned facility. Ensures that activities are performed in accordance to established processes as well as internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental health and safety fire protectionOversees the proper application and execution of processes and practices to ensure achievement of and adherence to all requirementsOversees and performs regular facility facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems monitoring and inspection preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met uninterrupted client operation and asset integrity of assigned facility are maintained. Provides observations about facility facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repairOversees and monitors assigned facility by conducting facility walkthroughs mechanical and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspectionOversees and maintains troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical building systems and equipmentOversees and responds to routine and on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systemsOversees the maintenance of as well as maintains work order records within service management maintenance database. Initiates documents to obtain formal approval of work requiredCoordinates and assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified recorded and escalated and that related documentations are maintainedCoordinates and participates in facility-related projectsOversees and maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required. Submits all expenditures on a timely basisProvides participates and supports training safety meetings operational meetings tool box talks etc.Must be able and willing to work shifts be available for on-call / standby and emergency call-outs as they ariseAssists in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations through manner in which work is performed and services deliveredOther duties as assignedWork Requirements

Facility operations and maintenance work experiencePrevious people leadership experience preferredHigh school diploma plus trades training and certificationAbility to lead a team of individualsHighly-advanced ability to adhere to processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenanceHighly-advanced ability to maintain and repair building mechanical and electrical equipment and systemsHighly-advanced building mechanical and electrical equipment and systemtroubleshooting and resolution skillsCurrent knowledge of fire life safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standardsPossesses a high level of environmental health and safety mindset.
