Position Summary
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Technologist to join their team. In this role, you will provide process engineering and technical support across a wide range of oil and gas projects. You will be involved in all stages of project execution, from initial quotations and design through fabrication, testing, final delivery, invoicing, and guarantee administration-ensuring quality and value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support efficient process designs for oil and gas applications, including dehydration, separation, metering, and pumping systems.
- Utilize process simulation software such as VMGSim (experience is an asset).
- Perform equipment and system sizing, including piping, separation vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, control valves, and pressure safety valves (PSVs).
- Review engineering deliverables to confirm compliance with project scope and resolve technical design or equipment issues.
- Support project execution by tracking progress from design through fabrication and delivery, reviewing drawings, and implementing required design changes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and third‑party engineering firms to deliver complete engineering solutions.
- Comply with all safety policies and the company's code of ethics.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred).Minimum of five years of experience in a fabrication shop or EPC environment.Hands‑on manufacturing or shop‑floor experience is highly desirable.Experience with VMGSim or similar process simulation tools is a strong asset.Working knowledge of API 520, API 521, ASME B31.3, and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.Strong understanding of drafting standards, fabrication methods, machine shop practices, and project management processes.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.What We Offer
