Job Overview
We are looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our transportation structures team based in Edmonton. You will lead design and technical work on major bridge projects across Alberta and manage budgets, quality, and project status.

Responsibilities
Lead structural analysis, design, evaluation, and preparation of calculations and drawings.Prepare technical reports following modelling and design calculations.Prepare proposals, bid and contract documentation.Monitor, control and report project status internally and externally.Aid in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting and allocation.Provide guidance, mentor and instruct junior staff.Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; post‑graduate degree a plus.Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.5+ years progressive experience in bridge engineering within consulting industry.Superior planning, organizational and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational skills.Team player, highly self‑motivated.Related experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors an asset.Occasional travel required; valid driver’s license.Associated Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
