Investment Director - Canadian Fixed Income, Public Markets

About the Job :
As an Investment Director, you will be part of a global team of 25 specialists, representing the views of our Public Markets portfolio managers to clients and consultants. You will collaborate closely with our Distribution team to service existing clients and onboard new ones in line with our sales strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for product strategy and investment messaging for Canadian Fixed Income.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For :
Extensive knowledge of Fixed Income, particularly in Canadian Core and Core Plus.
Proven experience presenting to Canadian institutional clients and consultants on investment-related topics in various settings (meetings, conferences).
Strong commercial acumen with a drive to win new business.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A keen interest in sustainability.

Hybrid flexible work model
In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
