Nanny

We are a family in Duncan / Maple Bay, British Columbia, seeking a nurturing and responsible nanny to join our household. We are looking for a live-out option, providing flexibility and convenience for the right candidate.

We have an infant who will be 11 months old when we first require care (starting end of May 2026 with intent on care being required for at least 1 year) who needs attentive and loving care, so experience with young children is essential. In addition to childcare, we ask for assistance with light pet care (playing / feeding / fresh water but not expecting walks to be given) ensuring our furry family members are well looked after. We have 1 medium size lovely duck tolling retriever and 2 low maintenance cats.

CPR certification is a must, as the safety and well-being of our child is our top priority. We are willing to discuss pay rates to find the perfect candidate, reflecting the importance we place on finding the right fit for our family.

The hours for this position are as follows : My husband works shift work (4 on, 4 off) and I work M-F but with at least 2 days at home and 3 days in the office. With this rotating schedule it works out to being approximately 200 hours every 2 months with one month being about 140 hours and the following month being 60 hours, however, no overnight or weekend care is required.
