Industry : Pneumatic and Robotic Equipment

Territory : BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Travel : within the territory every 3 months

Location : Alberta or BC

Salary : $85,000-90,000 base salary plus uncapped commission

This role involves providing technical expertise and fostering sales growth in the industrial sector within a designated region.

Through relationship building, sales support, and market development, the incumbent will drive the adoption of industrial products.

Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with distributors, industry partners, and end-users, promoting products, providing technical support, and monitoring sales performance.

The Regional Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.

Additionally, occasional interaction with regional counterparts and participation in trade shows and meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored plans for working with distributors in the region, building relationships with their staff, and fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders.
  • Provide informal training on products and promote their adoption.
  • Support distributors with proposal development, equipment specifications, and installation supervision.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust support as needed.
  • Address technical issues and provide product support to service staff.
  • Measure performance through increased market share, promotion of new products, and overall business growth in the region.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including quote logs and updates on technical or commercial issues.
  • Attend trade shows and sales meetings as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial or technical products.
  • Strong customer or distributor interaction skills.
  • Technical / mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn about products.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally further by various means of transport.
  • High emotional intelligence, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Desired Skills Or Experience

  • Familiarity with the product line or similar equipment.
  • Exposure to automation and production environments.
  • Knowledge of the quotation process and industry vendors
