Our large, Canadian client is experiencing tremendous growth and looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance.
The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial results for both internal and external users.
This position will partner closely with the Internal Accounting and Corporate FP&A Teams.
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance is as follows :
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly Cash Flow models
- Prepare and maintain the 5-year Strategic Plan (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for senior leadership
- Complete analysis of financial results, monitoring compliance with covenants, and highlighting to senior finance management any unusual trends and anomalies
- Assist in the preparation of all quarterly and annual external financial statements and related notes to ensure the Company meets its regulatory and contractual reporting requirements
Also, prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management and the parent company including :
- Prepare and analyze quarterly Investor Relations and MD&A data to assist with drafting the MD&A, earnings release, Annual Information Form, and presentations for the Audit Committee and Board meetings
- Assist the Corporate Controller and the Director of Financial Reporting in creating and maintaining Finance policies and procedures to establish proper accounting measurement and recognition guidelines
- Other ad-hoc analysis and duties as assigned

Job Requirements :
- University degree in Business Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
- Accounting designation (CPA) or imminent qualification required
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting and business experience
- National public accounting firm experience with a large company client base is strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and consolidation
- Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, formulas, graphs)
- Must have good interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of people
- Experience with Power BI, SAP, and BPC is an asset
