Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman / women Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex machinery, perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal plant operations. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with schematics and industrial equipment. A background in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS, HVAC, welding, boiler systems, and low voltage electrical work is highly desirable. Fluency in English and strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication within the team and with other departments.

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and HVAC systems
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Use CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking
• Conduct welding repairs and assist with boiler system maintenance as needed
• Work with electrical systems including low voltage wiring and PLCs to troubleshoot automation issues
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure safety standards are met during all repair activities
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades in accordance with engineering specifications
