System Implementation Specialist – InEight (Documents & Document Control)

Who are you?

We are seeking a hands-on System Implementation Specialist to lead the design, configuration, deployment, and adoption of the InEight Documents module to standardize and elevate our document control practices across projects and portfolios. The ideal candidate blends InEight platform expertise with document control governance , ensuring end-to-end lifecycle control for engineering and construction records—including submittals, RFIs, transmittals, correspondence, drawings, specifications, and turnover documentation.

You will partner with project teams, engineering, construction management, IT, and vendor resources to deliver scalable workflows, robust metadata structures, and reporting that drives compliance, traceability, and productivity.

InEight Documents Implementation & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end implementation of InEight Documents : environment setup, permissions, roles, folders, metadata, and audit controls.
• Configure business rules and automated workflows for submittals, RFIs, transmittals, review / approval cycles, revisions, and closeout packages.
• Design and maintain document numbering schemes , revision strategies, and naming conventions aligned to company standards and contracts.
• Build and optimize templates , checklists , and forms ; manage document attributes and custom fields for traceability.
• Integrate distribution matrices , review durations / SLAs, and exception handling (overdue, rework, reissue).
• Enable robust searchability and classification through controlled taxonomies, metadata, tags, and controlled vocabularies.
