Job Summary
Bank of China (Canada) is seeking a dynamic Product Manager, Personal Banking to champion the growth and optimization of our Personal Banking offerings. This role is instrumental in elevating the client experience, enhancing product performance, and driving innovation in cross-border banking solutions . The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in retail banking and a strong understanding of investment products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of personal banking products tailored to personal banking clients
- Leverage market insights and client feedback to identify product improvement opportunities
- Conduct performance analysis and segmentation to optimize product penetration and profitability
- Maintain and update product documentation, policies, agreements, and fee disclosures to ensure compliance and clarity
- Champion risk self‑assessments and ensure controls align with regulatory expectations
- Act as a key liaison for resolving inquiries across branches and call centres
- Deliver training programs to internal teams to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectiveness
- Collaborate with BOC domestic branches and BOCHK to advance cross‑border GIC product offerings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of retail banking experience , preferably with a focus on investment or deposit productsSolid knowledge of Personal Banking products , operations, and client needsStrong analytical and product management skillsBilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred due to frequent coordination with overseas branchesHigh attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and a customer‑first attitudeAccommodations
