Shipper / Receiver

Overview

Southland International Trucks Ltd. is looking for a parts department shipper / receiver to assist with customer deliveries and pickups. This position will require the candidate to work closely with parts department employees, manager and assistant manager, and other department managers. Along with having a professional appearance and attitude, candidate will possess excellent sales and customer service skills, ensuring all customers have a positive experience.

This position also requires performing assigned tasks such as parts stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment. We are looking for a self-starter who is also curiosity inspired with solution-driven technical abilities and holds basic knowledge regarding antiques, heavy truck and trailer parts / accessories. This position also has the opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities

• Shipping / receiving and tracking of parts and equipment
• Verifying shipments against shipping documents
• Entering information into database
• Re-stocking shelves
• Pick up and distribute parts and products to the work stations
• Making freight and courier arrangements as needed
• Assisting with shop assembly duties as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Other duties as assigned
