Your new role
As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities include overseeing health and safety protocols on project sites, ensuringpliance with best practices.
You’ll implement project management best practices in alignment with their culture and client needs. Managing procurement of professional services, equipment, and subcontractors is also part of your role.
Collaborating with the Senior Project Director and Construction Engineers, you’ll negotiate and award contracts to subcontractors.
Additionally, you’ll coordinate day-to-day activities on construction sites, monitor project risks, manage budgets, and facilitate effectivemunication with internal colleagues and clients to achieve successful project oues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent field. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in construction project management.
Familiarity with local permits and regulations, as well as an understanding of the business risks and financial implications associated with decisions, are essential.
A knowledge of energy systems within the built environment (including boilers, chillers, and cogeneration plants) is advantageous.
Finally, a valid driver’s license is required for this position.
