Job Description
This store associate role is essential to the success of our retail stores. Stationed at Store #8601, 5 20349 88th Ave, Langley, BC, you will assist wholesale and retail customers, recommend products, resolve concerns, and maintain high visual standards. Your focus will be to achieve excellent customer service while meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work order files and pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
- Stock shelves, set up displays, and keep the store presentable
- Clean store equipment, load / unload delivery trucks, and assist in deliveries as needed
- Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales
Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in CanadaMust retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasionPreferred Qualifications
Valid, unrestricted driver’s licenseHigh school diploma or Certificate of Adult Education Completion (CAEC)At least one year experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service positionPrevious work experience selling paint and paint‑related productsExperience operating tinting and mixing equipmentAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one languageAbout Us
