As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited urinalysis course including theory and practical. Phlebotomy and urinalysis experience within the last 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience using EPIC Beaker and Rover is strongly recommended. Experience within the last 2 years with data entry, specimen processing and handling is preferred. Experience using SPECTRE would be beneficial.
