About the Role:

Optimus is looking for a Principal Consultantto lead the design, articulation, and delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions for our customers. This is a senior, customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of AI architecture, Microsoft platforms, presales leadership, and executive communication.

This role is for a seasoned technologist who can translate AI potential into scalable, secure, and monetizable solutions, grounded in real business value.

You will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor, shaping solution strategy, leading presales and executive discussions, guiding delivery teams, and representing Optimus in front of CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders.

Presales & Customer Engagement

• Lead technical presales for Data & AI opportunities
• Own solution storytelling - from whiteboarding to executive-level presentations
• Partner with Sales and Practice Leads to shape:
  • Solution approaches
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Delivery phasing and success criteria
    
    
• Act as the technical face of Optimus in customer meetings

AI Solution Architecture & Strategy

• Design scalable, production-ready AI solutions using Microsofts AI ecosystem
• Define end-to-end architectures covering:
  • Data ingestion and integration
  • Model orchestration and inference
  • Security, governance, and compliance
  • Cost optimization and scalability
    
• Ensure AI solutions are enterprise-ready, not just POCs

Thought Leadership & Practice Growth

• Contribute to Optimus AI offerings, accelerators, and IP
  
• Stay current with Microsofts AI roadmap and emerging patterns
• Mentor architects and senior consultants within the Data & AI practice
• Support internal enablement and best-practice definition

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years in technology consulting, architecture, or senior engineering roles
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions (beyond POCs)
• Strong understanding of applied AI and LLM-based solutions; not required to be a data scientist
• Solid foundation in data platforms and analytics architectures that enable AI at scale
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure AI and modern data platforms (e.g., Fabric)
• Experience leading technical presales, solution design, and executive-level presentations
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable, secure AI architectures
  
• Comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills with a balance of technical depth and business clarity

• Experience with Microsoft partner programs, funding, or co-sell motions
• Background in professional services or systems integration environments
