The Job

Working closely with a mentor you will

• Learn to develop relationships with existing customers, assisting in sourcing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and other proactive prospecting methods.
• Develop account management, and relationship building skills.
• Gain expertise using our CRM software to enhance sales development planning and execution.
• Work with companies in a wide range of industry categories including construction, oilfield, equipment sales and rental, mining, transportation, utilities, government, forestry, etc.
• Conduct and present research on potential new customers and how you may convert them into new business.
• Attend auctions, tradeshows, industry events.
• Work with Operations team leaders, gaining expertise in the entire auction process.

This role is designed to provide the necessary training to become a Territory Manager within 1 year of the initial employment date. After completion of training candidates may be offered a Territory Manager role at any Michener Allen location. This is not a remote or hybrid working environment. Successful candidates will be required to work from a Michener Allen location full time. Must be highly available. Candidates must be able to work outdoors when required.
