The Resident Care Manager – Nights is responsible for overseeing resident care and nursing operations during overnight hours, ensuring safety, clinical excellence, and continuity of care. This role is ideal for a confident clinical leader who excels in independent decision-making and overnight leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight during overnight shifts
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care
• Support and supervise overnight nursing and support staff
• Act as the primary clinical decision-maker during night hours
• Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and staffing issues
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to care plans
• Communicate effectively with day leadership teams regarding overnight issues
• Support infection prevention, safety protocols, and incident reporting

Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration in Manitoba
• Experience in long-term care or complex continuing care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage overnight operations
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of LTC standards, policies, and best practices
