About This Opportunity

CBI Health is looking for a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Driving Instructor to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work with individuals who have undergone a medical injury or received a medical diagnosis that has impacted their ability to safely drive. Through on‑road assessment and training, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients regain their independence, confidence, and the skills required to return to driving.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Complete on‑road assessments with the Occupational Therapist for clients with a variety of diagnoses
• Adapt instruction to meet the unique physical, cognitive, and psychological needs of each client
• Provide recommendations to the Occupational Therapist regarding a client’s ability to safely drive
• Complete on‑road treatment sessions with clients with a variety of diagnoses
• Regular communication with the administrative team
• Maintain up‑to‑date, detailed progress notes and communicate assessment findings and progress to the Occupational Therapist on a regular basis
• Provide education and instructions regarding use of adaptive equipment during treatment sessions, if applicable
• Ensure vehicle and adaptive equipment are safely maintained and operated
