Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Delivery Manager to join our team in Saskatoon, SK!

Job Description :

Reporting to the District Director, the Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the team and delivering prescriptions for 10 stores in and around Saskatoon.

This includes various duties such as staff scheduling / training, hiring and terminations, and supervising operations. Managing customer service, customer satisfaction, professionalism and accuracy are key elements of this position.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage delivery drivers in all aspects.
  • Approve and manage delivery driver's payroll.
  • Train all delivery driver employees and ensure that all staff perform job duties according to their job descriptions.
  • Coordinate work schedules.
  • Manage all delivery driver personnel in day-to-day operations.
  • In coordination with Human Resources, hire, discipline, and terminate delivery driver employees as needed.
  • A continuous improvement approach by seeking and implementing efficiencies in the delivery process.
  • Ensure that the delivery service is always operating professionally, including maintaining courteous customer service
  • Manage pickups, deliveries store transfers. Maintain daily reporting as required.
  • Complete proper delivery documentation. Ensure delivery slips are signed and submitted.
  • Ensure all mail is postmarked and mailed every day.
  • Complete bank deposits.
  • Maintain delivery of automobiles including neatness, cleanliness, fuel, oil, tires, and general maintenance when needed.

Utilize and update the maintenance log binder.

  • Complete monthly totals for delivery record keeping.
  • Schedule performance reviews.
  • Ensure all delivery policies are followed and correct documentation is completed as per SCPP standards.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Management experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of managing and training teams.
  • Strong people management and leadership abilities.
  • Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver's licence.
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of the company vehicle.
  • Must have held a safe driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large packages.
  • Eligible candidates must provide a driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Strong customer service skills and a display of a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to follow proper procedures and guidelines.
  • Due to this position’s sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.

Experience :

  • Management : 2 years (preferred)
  • Supervising : 2 years (preferred)
