About the role

Reporting to the Budget and Reporting Manager, the Corporate Analyst is responsible for executing management accounting analysis, implementing reporting packages for operations and leadership, preparing board reports, and collaborating with operations to provide financial insights and commentary.

This position plays a critical role in enhancing financial transparency and operational efficiency across the organization, ensuring that financial reporting meets strategic objectives and operational needs.

Annual Salary Range : $65,000-80,000

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform management accounting analyses to support operational decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of financial processes and reporting standards.
  • Implement reporting packages for operations and leadership teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational metrics.
  • Prepare comprehensive board reports that communicate financial performance, trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to gather data, provide financial insights, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct variance analysis and prepare commentary for management and operational teams.
  • Support or lead special projects such as assisting in due diligence, system implementations, and other ad-hoc requests that align with the reporting team's objectives.
  • Support the integration of financial data into operational planning and decision-making processes.

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA or CFA designation is as asset
  • Experience in implementing financial reporting and analysis in a multi-industry environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of reporting best practices and regulatory requirements
