Accounting Technician
Job Description :
TorontoJobs.ca is working with a public accounting firm based in North York in their search for an Accounting Technician.

Responsibilities :
- Working with clients of all sizes and various industries
- Prepare financial statements and compliance tax returns for compilation engagements
- Working with clients of all sizes from smaller private companies to large public companies.
- Prepare tax returns HST, GST, T1, T2, T4, T5
- Set-up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning and other aspects of accounting work
- Communicate with governments regarding information requests, assessments and installments
Job Requirements :
- 2+ years of accounting related experience in a Canadian public accounting firm
- Previous experience with file preparation in a public accounting firm
- Experience working with accounting and tax software such as CaseWare, Taxprep and QuickBooks
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
