Global Markets Technology PMO Manager / Project Manager - IT – Expert

Location : Montreal, QC - Hybrid (Hybrid)

Contract Length : 10 Months with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities :

  • Reporting into the Director, Business Mgmt Global Markets Technology the PMO Manager will work with various project management teams within two functional areas of QTS (Quantitative and Technology Services)
  • Independently and effectively liaison with various project teams and central PMO office to ensure teams are following enterprise standards for Project Management
  • Work with various delivery teams and senior leadership to create business facing materials to communicate outcomes and business benefits on a regular basis.
  • Becoming a key member of a Business Mgmt team supporting

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Ensure all projects are performing adequate reporting in relation to project management.
  • Work with delivery teams and project managers to help structure JIRA boards.
  • Assist with Town Hall material preparation.
  • Drive creation of monthly newsletter
  • Help prepare materials for business presentations (Quarterly success decks, year end materials)

    • Must have skills :

  • Proficiency in JIRA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • Previous work experience in independently creating senior business facing materials
  • Working Knowledge of SharePoint & Tableau
  • A strong understanding of technology and / or capital markets.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Previous work experience within a technology organization at a financial institution
  • Previous experience in delivering a project greater than $5M

    • Nice-to-have Skills :

  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Python and SQL.
