About The Role
We are seeking a Junior Analyst to join our Finance and Operations team. This role will support our reporting, data management, and business insights activities across multiple lines of business. The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Business Analysis, Power BI, routine data updates across different data sources, creating / managing Microsoft Forms, and working with various stakeholder groups to deliver analytic solutions catered to user needs. This role is suited for someone who has strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, is organized, able to contribute to continuous process improvements, and can turn data into actionable insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, interpret and present data to support decision-making.
- Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure accuracy of data presented.
- Assist in developing and maintaining analytical solutions for various lines of business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor data, and customer data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support business functions in forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by management.
- Develop, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Perform data transformations using Power Query and DAX under guidance.
- Refresh datasets and ensure accuracy of scheduled data updates.
- Troubleshoot report performance issues and work with Senior Analysts on enhancements.
- Assist in gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders.
- Perform weekly / monthly data updates from internal systems or external sources.
- Validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Document data processes, update logs, and maintain data quality standards.
Support ad-hoc data requests and basic analysis tasks.Create, modify, and manage Microsoft Forms for surveys, submissions, and data collection.Monitor form responses and integrate results into reports and datasets.Collaborate with teams to streamline workflows and automate data collection where possible.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related analytical field (or equivalent experience).1–3 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics or financial analysis (co-op / internship experience considered).Basic knowledge of Power BI (Power Query, DAX fundamentals, report building) or other BI tools.Strong Excel skills (lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, data transforms).Experience using Microsoft Forms and Microsoft 365 tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to present findings clearly and concisely.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.A proactive attitude towards learning, and curiosity about the storage, logistics, or real estate industries is a plus.Preferred Skills
Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and automated workflows (Power Automate).Basic understanding of relational databases or SQL.Experience working with large datasets.Exposure to data visualization best practices.What We Offer
