Structural EIT

Job Title: Structural EIT (Engineer-in-Training)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $70K – $85K (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable engineering consultancy in Vancouver, is looking for a Structural EIT to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and project delivery across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of structural designs and calculations for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Support drafting and reviewing structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on analysis using software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or RAM Structural System.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and construction support as required.
• Contribute to project coordination, QA/QC, and client communications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT designation or eligibility to register as an EIT in BC.
• Academic or internship experience in structural engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
