The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority EMS Division is looking for ambitious and enthusiastic team members to provide a high-level of patient care in a vast and diverse region of Northeast Alberta.
BRFA casual members have the option to choose from 12-hour Day / Night or Coreflex shifts, with an extensive fatigue management program for Coreflex rotations.
Accommodations are available onsite to members travelling from out of town, at no cost.

Core Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide ground ambulance services.
- Participate in learning and education opportunities.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness.
- Comply with BRFA’s policies and procedures.
Certifications, Licenses and / or Designations :
- Unrestricted Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) currently registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) in the Province of Alberta.
- Unrestricted valid Class 4 operators license with clean drivers abstract.
- CPR certificate for Health Care Provider.
Assets
- Minimum 1-year experience working as a Primary Care Paramedic.
- A.R.E test or equivalent.
- ITLS and PEARS certifications.
- Professional Driver’s Improvement Course or equivalent.
Hours of work : A Coreflex shift shall consist of 12 hours at the basic rate of pay plus 12 hours on-call pay; a Regular shift consists of 12 hours.
Wages : Range from $27.13 to 33.66 / hr based on experience. Accommodations available on site.
